In 2004, Bettina Aller and I reached the North Pole on skies from Siberia after a 56 days expeditions. In 2006 we reached it a second time during an attempt to cross the all Polar Sea from Siberia to Canada via the North Pole. This expedition was stopped close to the Canadian cost after 99 days on the ice by the early melting of the ice.
