After going
deeper and deeper into the West Papuan jungle we meet tribes that
were more and more preserved from the modern world. The Daly who live in the
mountains have regular contact with modernity. The Asmat who live in the lowlands
along the rivers have more seldom contacts. The Stone Korowaï live deep into the
jungle separated in small groups. The 2 groups that accepted to meet us and
invited us to stay in their tree houses had never been contacted before. They
were living without any iron, cloth, plastic, or any kind of modern materials
preserving a way of life directly originated from the Stone Age.
