I don't wish to be a Cinematographer one will recognize from a movie to the next.
I wish to be able to make images that belong to each film. Each story has its one style, its one technique...
From the lightest 4K to the heaviest 35mm Cinemascope, I love them all. Playing with them like some play with words or music is just what I enjoy doing. Over the years, I had the chance to work on documentaries, commercials (Coca Cola, Mc Donald's…), music videos and fictions that were selected in international film festivals (Venice, Sundance, Tribeca, FIPA, Doc fest, Full Frame, Banff…) and have received more than 40 awards. Many of those films have had theater release and were broadcasted on the main networks (Netflix, National Geographic, Arte, France TV, Arte, Canal+, SBS, DR, BBC...). As comfortable into the wildest places on earth than in studio doing special effects or VR capture, I've had the chance to learn many filming techniques that I love mixing on the projects I join (steadicam, 3D Gimbals, underwater, drone...). I am also fully equipped with some of the best cameras, lenses, and film lights on the market.
“Very beautiful images, and (which is rare) a very good sense of framing and composition. Beautiful light, which is often difficult to reconcile with the needs of documentary. We also feel the attachment and respect that you show towards people and their faces. Good work! I will follow your career with great interest.”
